industry expertise to the role. With over 17 years of
cross-sector experience in banking, FMCG,
petroleum, and investment management, he
provides visionary oversight that drives innovation,
operational excellence, and sustainable growth. His
leadership roles as Board Chair of Renaissance
Capital Ghana, the GRATIS Foundation, and the
Kadjebi Water and Sanitation Board underscore his
ability to navigate both corporate and
developmental landscapes with impact.
MR. KWAKU DONKOR- MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. Kwaku is a seasoned energy professional with a career dedicated to the downstream oil and
gas sector in West Africa. He possesses in-depth expertise across the entire downstream
value chain, with a proven track record in planning, executing, and managing complex energy
projects. His experience spans crude oil trading (both paper and physical), refinery operations,
marine logistics (vesseling), and product sales.
DR PATRICK BAAH- ACQUAH PHD FINANCE DIRECTOR
Dr. Patrick Baah-Acquah brings over 20 years of financial leadership and strategic insight to his role as Finance Director at Ideal Energy. With a proven track record in banking, credit, treasury, and operations from top institutions like Fidelity Bank and UMB, he ensures sound financial oversight and sustainability. His experience advising global bodies such as the IFC (World Bank), EU, and AfCFTA equips him to align Ideal Energy’s financial strategy with global standards, enabling growth, compliance, and long-term value creation.

Selassie is a seasoned Project Management
Professional with over 12 years of experience in
the mining and extractive industries. She
specializes in strategic project execution, risk
management, and stakeholder engagement,
with a strong track record of leading cross-
functional teams and delivering high-impact
projects within scope, time, and budget.
Currently managing major initiatives in Ghana’s
aluminium sector, she brings deep industry
insight and strong leadership capabilities.
Selassie holds a BA in Industrial Art from KNUST,
an MA in Strategic Management (Marketing)
from the University of Ghana, and is a certified
Project Management Professional (PMP).
